CHP investigates three additional confirmed cases of COVID-19

- Total now 1,056 (1,055 confirmed + 1 probable)

Since 31 December 2019, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health has recorded a total of 1056 cases of COVID-19, including 1055 confirmed cases and 1 probable case (Case no. 97). Among these cases, 1,024 were discharged and 4 cases were fatal cases (Case no. 13, 55, 89 and 99), the remaining 28 cases were still hospitalised.

Chartered flight taking Hong Kong residents stranded in India back home departed from New Delhi

There are 249 Hong Kong residents on board, including seven children under two years of age. Upon arrival, the returnees will proceed to the Department of Health's Temporary Specimen Collection Centre at AsiaWorld-Expo by coaches for compulsory COVID-19 testing.
