The Chamber welcomes the recent publication of the review of the Asia Pacific Ireland Business Forum. We commend Michael Shannon on his report and very much welcome the results of the survey of Irish professionals in the region who expressed “strong support…behind the idea of an independently organised and resourced Forum”.
Young Professionals – The 12 Pubs of Christmas 2015
If your standard “12 pubs of Christmas” event features the cracking of refreshing beverages alongside the magical carolling of a Christmas choir, mid night dance-off’s, cheeky 7/11 pit stops and of course dancing on the tables alongside the manager of one of our 12 pubs, all whilst wearing Santa suits and vibrant head gear that could only be said to rival Rudolf’s red nose himself, then the Young professionals 12 pubs of Christmas was safely in line with tradition.
Insider’s Evening with Jim Thompson, Founder & Chairman of Crown Worldwide
Great event last night. The Irish Chamber was honored to host Jim Thompson, Founder and Chairman of Crowne World Wide, for the second in the series of ‘Insider Evenings’. The event was hosted at the new premises of the Consulate General of Ireland in collaboration with the Chamber. Consul General Ryan & Chamber Chairman Ian Carroll welcomed guests which included Niall Murray, Chair of the Irish Macau Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber Launches Annual Report on ‘Networking between Ireland and the Pearl River Delta’
Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong’s First annual report on doing business in the Pearl River Delta. Launched to coincide with the official opening of the premises of Ireland’s first Consulate General to Hong Kong & Macau. The report will be a valuable resource for Irish companies & professionals interested in doing business in the world’s most dynamic region.
The Irish Chamber Mentorship Program 2015
The Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong, together with its partner organisation the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Macau, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Ireland, is pleased to introduce, on a pilot basis, a Mentorship Programme.
The aim of the programme is to facilitate and support engagement between the more experienced contacts drawn from the Irish Community and ‘Friends of Ireland’ in Hong Kong and Macau.
The Programme will run for an initial six months period, namely from September to February, using the Irish Executive Mentorship Programme (IEMP) platform supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
