The Irish Chamber of Commerce of Hong Kong, together with its partner organization the Irish Chamber of Commerce of Macau, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Ireland, is pleased to introduce, a Mentorship Programme for its members.
The aim of the programme is to facilitate and support engagement between the more experienced contacts drawn from the Irish Community and ‘Friends of Ireland’ in Hong Kong and Macau. The Programme will run using the Irish Executive Mentorship Programme (IEMP) platform supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The Programme matches mentors and protégés using the IEMP online mechanism. The following are the IEMP definitions of people in each category;
Mentors – Typically, mid- to late-career executives and entrepreneurs, willing to share their experience and guide early- to mid-career counterparts towards accomplishing key professional goals. Mentors will volunteer 1-2 hours per month, for six months.
Protégés – Typically, early- to mid-career executives or entrepreneurs, looking to learn from experience and work towards accomplishing meaningful professional goals to achieve greater success in business. Mentees will dedicate at least two hours per month, for six months, preparing for and participating in meetings with the mentor. All potential mentors & mentees are asked to register at www.iemp.org
